Students at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences can contact the psychological counseling center and the anti-discrimination contact person anonymously and free of charge. Both offices conduct confidential support for students in both German and English and can refer them to other qualified services if necessary, as well as inform and educate them about their options and rights.
A specially trained group of employees, primarily from the student counseling department, takes on the cases and supports those affected.
The university conducts a survey on the topic of sexualized violence and abuse of power in order to strengthen prevention work in a targeted manner.
The team at the Central Gender Equality Office and Family Services can be contacted for general questions on the topic of gender equality; the Central Gender Equality Office, Student Affairs Department, the Vice-President for Studies, Teaching and Continuing Academic Education and the Vice-President for Internationalisation and Diversity are responsible for the prevention of sexualized violence.
