The Equal Opportunities Officer of the City of Kleve Yvonne Tertilte-Rübo pursues the goal of raising awareness on disadvantages of women and men and contributes to equality of women and men in all sectors of society, in particular in the city of Kleve.

This is done by various appliances:

• Counseling of citizens and colleagues
• Transfer of the counselor to relief organizations
• VNegotiations with politicians and administrators
• Publication of brochures and information material on gender equality issues
• Public relations
• Networking

Varioius offers

The offers of the Equal Opportunities Officers address both the colleagues within the city administration as well as to all citizens of the city Kleve. The topics of the discussions and the activities are diverse. Within the city administration, these are, for example, maternity protection, bullying, sexual harassment in the workplace, grouping, part-time work, training, reconciling family and career, job applications or child-care leave. Outside the administration it is concerned, for example, with the areas of work and unemployment, violence, poverty, women's health, childcare, education or separation and divorce.

Consultations with the Equal Opportunities Officer are confidential on request.

The Equal Opportunities Officer of the City of Kleve moderates the Round Table Kleve, and ensures that the results of this network are passed on to the local parties, as well as to the Ministry of Health, Social Affairs, Women and Family of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia
