A network for a violence-free home in the district of Kleve

In the district of Kleve there are now four so-called "round tables for a non-violent home”, in german: “die Runden Tische für ein gewalfreies zu Hause". In Kleve, Emmerich, Goch and Geldern, experts from different institutions come together to exchance their working expierience and to bring up new ideas against domestic violence and its consequences.

Priority areas for the cooperation are mutual coordination and improving assistance to victims of domestic violence. Furthermore developing and implementing prevention services to proactively prevent violence. Another important topic is the establishment of services for offenders. The development of the district cooperation of various governmental institutions and non-governmental help organizations is also an essential part of the network for “a non-violent home” in the district of Kleve.

The so called “Round Tables”, “die runden Tische”, in the district of Kleve are being coordinated by the Women's Counselling Centre IMPULS.
